A. Curl Fresh conditioner has 10 - 15 additional botanical extracts, milder cleansers, superfood seed oils and is made from 98% plant-based and naturally derived ingredients. Normally, we recommend Curl Fresh for fine-medium waves and curls, and the Curl Revive and Curl Thrive duo for medium-coily textures or those seeking richer hydration.Both Curl Thrive and Curl Fresh are formulated with our Curl Creating Complex to enhance curls, hydrate, and moisturize natural patterns.

Q. What makes AG formulas unique? 
A. AG formulas are free of drying sulfates, are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. All our formulas meet or exceed leading “clean” ingredient programs. Great product, cleaner and kinder formulas.

Q: Should refill pouches be shaken before use?
A: We recommend shaking the pouch before refilling as its natural ingredients can occasionally cause separation.

Q: How many bottles can the 1L refill pouch fill?
A: Our refill pouches will fill our aluminum 12oz bottle 2.8 times, our 10oz shampoos 3.2 times and our 8oz conditioners 4.1 times!

Q: What is the shelf life of the 1L refill pouch after it’s been open?
A: 12 months.

Q: How do I extend the life of my bottles to reuse as long as possible?
A: Our bottles can easily be rinsed, dried and used multiple times!

Q: Are refill pouches recyclable?
A: AG pouches are not currently recyclable due to an inner layer required to protect the stability of AG formulas. However, the caps are recyclable and our pouches use 73% less plastic and take 62% less energy to produce than our previous litre bottles leaving a smaller footprint and generating fewer CO2 emissions.

Nice, but nothing special

"This conditioner is quite all right, but it's nothing special. Pros: I love the texture (it's very foamy and pleasant), LOVE that it's vegan, the smell is nice and minty and it does make my fine wavy hair soft. Cons: the bottle and packaging are UGLY, the bottle is quite wide and you have to press hard for the product to dispense, and I find it pretty expensive for what it ultimately is. I got this product for free and I like it, but I wouldn't buy it."

I need to work out a few hiccups, for perfect ringlets

"I want to love this product, but I am finding it difficult in my hair. Yes it gives me beautiful ringlets, but I find I need a second or third product to use with it. I like to brush leave in conditioner through my hair, but with just this Curl Thrive alone I find it is more grippy than slick, therefore a sticky tangled mess. The curls are worth playing around with it somemore to get it to work perfectly in my fine but alot of hair, hair. I find the smell very interesting. A little minty, and herbaceous. Its not my favorite, but its not awful. I just prefer fruity sweet scents for my hair."

Hydrated curls without extra product!

"I've gotten used to using lots of product for my hair to hold any curl after I damaged my hair with years of box dye (oops) and have dealt with lots of breakage as a result. With this conditioner however, I didn't need to use any additional styling products which was such a relief! It left my hair feeling much more soft and hydrated, but not greasy as I've found with other conditioners. Not to mention the cute packaging it came in!"

"As someone with wavy bleached hair, it can be really difficult to find a conditioner that is hydrating enough. This Curl Thrive is a god send – it smells great (not too fragranced, definitely unisex scent), detangles my hair, and helps to form my waves. I don't find it as heavy as other hydrating conditioners which makes it a great option for people with fine wavy or curly hair."

Amazing smell

"I only used this conditioner twice on my loose perm before cutting most of it off, but I still liked it. It feels really good in my hair, and the scent is the best part. The only downside is the packaging. The bottle is so stiff that getting the product out is way harder than it should be, and a different shape would fix that instantly. Even now that my hair is mostly straight, it still works great. Also my hair is bleached and needs a lot of hydration so that says something."
