Q. How did AG formulas change?
A. AG formulas are now free of drying sulfates, former ingredients have been replaced with their vegan counterpart and all formulas meet or exceed leading “clean” ingredient programs. Same great product, new cleaner and kinder formulas.

Q: Should refill pouches be shaken before use?
A: We recommend shaking the pouch before refilling as its natural ingredients can occasionally cause separation. The separation does not affect the integrity or performance of the product.

Q: How many bottles can the 1L refill pouch fill?
A: Our refill pouches will fill our aluminum 12oz bottle 2.8 times, our 10oz shampoos 3.2 times and our 8oz conditioners 4.1 times!

Q: What is the shelf life of the 1L refill pouch after it’s been open?
A: 12 months.

Q: How do I extend the life of my bottles to reuse as long as possible?
A: Our bottles can easily be rinsed, dried and used multiple times!

Q: Are refill pouches recyclable?
A: AG pouches are not currently recyclable due to an inner layer required to protect the stability of AG formulas. However, the caps are recyclable and our pouches use 73% less plastic and take 62% less energy to produce than our previous litre bottles leaving a smaller footprint and generating fewer CO2 emissions.

Not right for me

"I really wanted to love these products! I bought this shampoo and conditioner hoping it would help my oily and sensitive scalp but I still need to wash my hair every day. . . I stopped using the conditioner as it leaves residue on my short hair and it already feel oily the next morning after washing my hair the night before. I would not recommend this combo for short oily hair. I'm disappointed."

better than expected

"i bought this conditioner as i’ve recently become very sensitive to many chemicals and fragrances. i use the balance shampoo and it works well for my sensitivities, so i thought this conditioner would do the job and smell the same. it smells different, and very good, like dessert actually! the fragrance is not overpowering and can be fully rinsed out of your hair. i even accidentally got it in my mouth and it didn’t taste bad. the conditioner is also fairly moisturizing and works well with my (short) curly hair, which i wasn’t expecting as i usually need to use hair-mask levels of conditioner. it doesn’t leave my scalp looking or feeling oily, just softer hair :) very happy with this product, a little goes a long way. will definitely be getting a refill once i need it!!!"

"I have been really happy with this product. The texture is lightweight and easy to apply and it spreads evenly through my hair. After using it regularly my hair feels smoother looks noticeably shinier and is easier to manager. It forms lather easily on the first wash and there is almost no breakages on my hair."

Great Clarifying Shampoo

"I used this as a clarifying shampoo and it was great! It’s gets rid of build up in the scalp - I typically use a volumizing mousse or oils throughout the week so this helps to ensure that there’s no excess build up. My scalp did feel more refreshed and less oily throughout the weeks. Overall i’d recommend to use this as a refresher throughout the week especially if you typically use other hair products."

"I switched to AG Care from a product that I loved but couldn't use anymore due to ethical concerns with the company. I was nervous about trying something new but I am pleasantly surprised with the ACV line. It cleans well and the conditioner does a great job. The thing that makes me happiest is that my hair has definitely been strengthened by this line. I have much less breakage than I used to and there are way less hairs on my comb.
