A. When used as directed and not as an overnight leave-on treatment in porous hair, this will not turn hair violet.

A: Our bottles can easily be rinsed, dried and used multiple times!

Q: Are refill pouches recyclable?
A: AG pouches are not currently recyclable due to an inner layer required to protect the stability of AG formulas. However, the caps are recyclable and our pouches use 73% less plastic and take 62% less energy to produce than our previous litre bottles leaving a smaller footprint and generating fewer CO2 emissions.

"I am very pleased with this product. Having tried a number of 'purple shampoos' , I can say that this one is the very best of the lot. My hair is shiny and bright. The hint of yellow is gone and there are no purple undertones in my hair! I go have arthritis in my hands so the matching conditioner product is difficult for me to squeeze out of the container. "The most amazing thing about this shampoo is it is so moisturizing. As you massage it on, your fingers glide through your hair. If you are like me, you have tried them all. So, you know that “parched-like” texture of toner shampoos and the result is really dried out hair. Well, not with STERLING SILVER TONING SHAMPOO. The result is soft and beautifully toned hair. My photos show wet after washing - a nice pic to show the toning effect, and then dry hair with the sunshine beaming and you can see the shine. Because I want you to see the results of shampoo only, I didn’t follow up with conditioner on this wash. The conditioner is also fantastic as are all the many AG CARE products I now use."

Does this shampoo leave any kind of a violet cast on your hair?: Great question - Our Sterling Silver collection includes toning properties and is violet based. This shampoo does not leave violet tones on hair, however, keep in mind porosity, usage and length of time left on hair. I was told by a hairdresser that this shampoo for grey hair is not good strips the moisture out is this true.?: AG's Sterling Silver shampoo is sulfate-free and gentle. This collection is uniquely formulated to protect natural and colour-treated hair, offers UVA/UVB protection and helps neutralize brassy tones and brightens hair. Using it on natural greys will keep them brighter. For more intense moisture and pigment, we recommend our Sterling Silver Mask. I love the sterling silver shampoo and conditioner however it does make my grey hair does look purple and I’m wondering how to stop that.: We recommend using Sterling Silver periodically to neutralize brassy tones and a daily shampoo in between. Does this sterling silver shampoo works good if you have purple hair?: Sterling Silver neutralizes brassy and yellow tones in hair. Keeping colour deeper and brighter in between salon visits. If left for longer periods the pigments can leave a hue in lightened hair but will not deepen purple dyed hair.
