Scent is too strong

"I haven’t used this a lot because the smell is so strong, and off-putting, I wore it for one day and got a headache after and hour and ended up having to immediately wash my hair again to survive. My overall impression was that it felt sticky, and heavy and smelly for my fine, wavy hair. Haven’t re-tried it. I wish there was better information about using it — I’d love tutorials but can’t seem to locate them. I wanted to love everything about these products but am struggling."

Plastique is no longer in your product line. Will you direct me to its replacement? It has been my favorite styling product for fine limp hair 20 years.: Thank you for reaching out to us. Which is your best product for giving more body to fine hair. I have been using Liquid Effects CURL with good results. Is that still available? Is there anything more appropriate for fine hair?: Yes, the Liquid Effects that is working well for you is still available. We launched a new era of care in August 2022, all of our products are now 100% vegan, free of harmful sulfates and always cruelty free and are offered in several sustainable packaging options. Former ingredients have been replaced with their vegan counterpart. Same great performance with clean and kind formulas. Another recommendation we can offer for volumizing fine hair is, Foam. A few pumps raked into damp hair and then blow dried boosts fine-to-medium hair while adding softness and shine. This alcohol-free volumizer discourages frizz and provides heat protection.
