A. We suggest using Renew 1-2 times per week between washes with your other AG shampoos to remove product build up, mineral deposits and chlorine.

Q. Will Renew strip colour, is it colour safe?
A. Renew will not strip colour. Our entire collection is safe to use on colour-treated hair.

Q. What is the difference between Renew and Balance?
A. If you're seeking a clarifying shampoo, we recommend using Renew 1 - 2 times per week to remove product build up, mineral deposits and chlorine. Balance can be used daily to gently clarify and maintain a healthy environment for hair.

Q. What makes AG formulas unique?

Q: Should refill pouches be shaken before use?

A: Our refill pouches will fill our aluminum 12oz bottle 2.8 times, our 10oz shampoos 3.2 times and our 8oz conditioners 4.1 times!

Q: What is the shelf life of the 1L refill pouch after it’s been open?
A: 12 months.

Q: How do I extend the life of my bottles to reuse as long as possible?
A: Our bottles can easily be rinsed, dried and used multiple times!

Q: Are refill pouches recyclable?
A: AG pouches are not currently recyclable due to an inner layer required to protect the stability of AG formulas. However, the caps are recyclable and our pouches use 73% less plastic and take 62% less energy to produce than our previous litre bottles leaving a smaller footprint and generating fewer CO2 emissions.

"The AG Care Renew Clarifying Shampoo made my hair feel super clean without drying out my ends. This is super important to me because I have highlights (bleached hair) and tend to get dry ends. Shower staple keeping hair soft and shiny without stripping down your scalp

"This product has easily become a shower staple! It is so light weight and doesn’t weigh my hair down- and instead makes it manageable and washes out any build up but very gently. I find most clarifying shampoos overly strip my scalp from oils but with this one, my hair is soft and shiny. I also find my hair can go a bit longer when I use this. The packaging is nice and it’s very easy to dispense how much product you need without going over board. Overall I’m pleased with this product and love that is reliable for someone like me who has finer more greasier hair. I will say regarding the smell- it is heavily on the citrus side."

Delightful scent, but I'll stick to my normal shampoo

"The shampoo mentions that it works great at removing build-up, so I wait for a day where my hair is just gross 😝 . I'm standing in the shower for over 5 minutes trying to get the shampoo out of the bottle. I had already checked and there was no seal. Well the seal was shoved way inside the top, took for ever to try lol. On my first application I could smell how lightly flagrant it was, just a hint of citrus. Delightful but not much foam. On the second try it was a little better. The build up definitely was no longer there. My hair was squeaky clean, but also felt dry even though I was in the shower. For me and my hair type, I'll just stick to my normal shampoo."

Great buy for buildup of chlorine and other damaging minerals

"Renew clarifying shampoo with a great addition to my routine for after swimming care. We love going swimming as a whole family, but typically our hair would be really dry and brutal afterwards with lots of chlorine. Renews clarifying shampoo helped take that buildup of chlorine and other products sitting on our scalp, giving us a beautiful fresh healthy scalp. The lather was very good, which is very important when it comes to picking out a shampoo. The scent was really nice as well has like a burst of orange or some fruit extract that makes it smell very juicy and almost tropical."

"I have been looking for a product to remove product buildup without my hair feeling like straw and AG Care renew sulphate-free shampoo has helped my hair getting rid of impurities. As you can see in my photos, it creates surprisingly rich sulphate-free lather. I have now used it for a week and a half. It feels lightweight, clean and has clean ingredients which doesn’t give me an after hair shower itchiness, the way i get from other shampoos. The fragrance/scent is so clean and refreshing and definitely doesn’t smell like heavy chemicals. A clean formula gives clean hair!! Really impressed!!"

"My hair was having crazy product buildup leading to hairloss and many failed clarifying shampoos later, I tried the AG Care clarifying shampoo and I could see visible results right away. The buildup was almost all gone. It didn't make my hair feel dry like other clarifying shampoos. It made my scalp irritations go away. It also smells so delicious, lol! "I’ve really enjoying the shampoo! it cleans my hair so valve without stripping it, specially, after swimming or using a lot of gels for slick back styles. Air removes buildup easily and leaves my hair fresh, soft and light. The leather is nice and the scent is clean and not too overpowering. Invigorating Citrus clarifying Shampoo

"This clarifying shampoo works well by removing build up like dry shampoo grease and oil build up. The scent is my favourite part of this shampoo, it’s a nice invigorating light citrus. The biggest complain I have is the bottle, its integrity broke down very quickly and did not hold its shape after a few uses. I typically use this one to twice a week at most. Makes my hair feeling light, bouncy and full of volume not weighed down."
