"I’m really conflicted about this product. It’s possibly I’m not using the product to its fullest potential, but also I never saw of the package any instruction. I find there is some lift to my hair but I don’t find that it stays lifted for very long. As well, I don’t like how the product feels in my hair after I use it. I don’t wash my hair every day or every few days and I find it leaves a gritty texture. There is no noticeable smell to the product."

After applying it to my hair, it made my hair so dry that I could barely run my fingers through it without tingling my spine. It was like nails on the chalkboard. I would say if you have hair that is on the greasy your side and lacking volume. This could be amazing. Just wasn’t right for me."

"The product starts off as a thick pomade, and then turns into an oil once distributed between the palms of my hands. It definitely takes away any residual oil or grease. I like the innovative nature of this product, but the heaviness it leaves in my hair is why I took off one star. The smell is fresh and the ingredients are incredibly clean. I appreciate the use of kaolin."

"This is a really cool product. It creates volume, mattifies oily roots, and gives some hold while smelling great. The good thing about this product is that it works. I am giving 4 stars because on the Sephora app it says, “never greasy or stiff” which is half true, absolutely never greasy but it does feel a bit stiff, this is typical with a dry shampoo product, just not accurate to the description. The packaging is convenient and there is a good amount of product that will last you a while, yes it’s stiff ish to the touch but very easy to brush through, and easy to wash out in the shower."

- Do you apply to newly washed damp hair or apply to dry hair??? This should be in the description and or instructions that aren’t even on the container.!
- We would recommend Dry Lift to be used on dry hair either clean or dirty. The volcanic ash helps absorb excess oil. Apply to roots for volume or can be used on your ends to add texture.
- What replaces Thikkening Lotion? My hair is fine and thinning and that product worked For me
- Hello Arleen, We do not have direct alternative at this time however we can strongly recommend Thikk Wash, Thikk Rinse and Spray Body as an alternative to help aid optimal hair growth.
