"I’m really conflicted about this product. It’s possibly I’m not using the product to its fullest potential, but also I never saw of the package any instruction. I find there is some lift to my hair but I don’t find that it stays lifted for very long. As well, I don’t like how the product feels in my hair after I use it. I don’t wash my hair every day or every few days and I find it leaves a gritty texture. There is no noticeable smell to the product."

After applying it to my hair, it made my hair so dry that I could barely run my fingers through it without tingling my spine. It was like nails on the chalkboard. "The product starts off as a thick pomade, and then turns into an oil once distributed between the palms of my hands. It definitely takes away any residual oil or grease. I like the innovative nature of this product, but the heaviness it leaves in my hair is why I took off one star. The smell is fresh and the ingredients are incredibly clean. "This is a really cool product. It creates volume, mattifies oily roots, and gives some hold while smelling great. The good thing about this product is that it works. I am giving 4 stars because on the Sephora app it says, “never greasy or stiff” which is half true, absolutely never greasy but it does feel a bit stiff, this is typical with a dry shampoo product, just not accurate to the description. The packaging is convenient and there is a good amount of product that will last you a while, yes it’s stiff ish to the touch but very easy to brush through, and easy to wash out in the shower."

"My boyfriend was the test subject for this product and he said it’s very drying. He’s got medium length, straight hair that he keeps slicked back. The texture is very thick and a little goes a long way. It is volumizing, however if you use too much it makes your hair feel very heavy."
