- Hello - I have brown hair with a LOT of highlights. So many highlights that I have been looking for a product to tone down the blond (and orangey hue the blond highlights can take on). I just received Sterling Silver Toning Conditioner in the mail and I wonder if I have chosen the wrong product and I don't want my highlights to be any lighter than they already are...I was hoping to tone them down. Will this product work for this purpose? Thanks so much! Laura
